The Education Services Manager is responsible for the training and development of a large remote team of Education Services Representatives and Meeting Planners. This individual is also the key liaison for the brands, vendors and corporate stakeholders on the seminar planning process.

Oversees Seminar Planning Process

  • Conducts Seminar Mapping and allocation analysis seasonally to set optimal seminar locations based on seminar requirements, staffing and budgets.

  • Works collaboratively with Brands, Onesource and Vendors to establish, socialize and train Seminar planning timeline and process each season.

  • Documents all brand requirements for seminar sourcing, registration and logistics on time and in a format to be used by entire sourcing and services team.

  • Work collaboratively across the COE for seamless seminar project management; partners with Brand Education, IT, Vendors and corporate stakeholders to ensure business needs are met according to corporate guidelines. Meets weekly with brands and team to monitor progress, make project decisions and provide guidance to Onesource team.

  • Regularly evaluates SLAs and takes action to train and makes recommendations to improve accuracy and speed.

  • Reviews analytics and shares reports and identifies resource gaps to Education COE and Brand leadership on a monthly basis.

  • Provides regular training to the team of Seminar Reps, Meeting Planners, brand approvers and Field on the implementation of the seminar planning process.


  • Ability to oversee, train, develop and support a large team’s adoption of seminar administration processes and navigate the complexities of this process with the Brands, vendors and remote teams.

  • Demonstrates an ability to analyze project issues at a high level to identify root cause and make recommendations for both long-term solution and immediate actions to mitigate any risk.

  • Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence to navigate through project management risks and align Field, COE, corporate travel and brand education leadership teams.

  • This individual has high degree of autonomy in managing through roadblocks and issues—and needs to discern when to escalate issues to COE leaders.

  • Role requires a working knowledge of project and event management practices.

  • Builds highly collaborative relationships across the COE, OneSource and Brand Education.

  • Ability to manage all seminar logistics (sourcing plus registration) of a large number of events at a fast pace—with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Detail-oriented and exacting; proficient with excel, familiarity with databases, strong ability to train and coach Field, Brand approvers and Coe staff, strong sense of urgency and responsiveness; resourceful, natural problem solver and makes good decisions; good negotiator and networker, strong written and oral communication skills; able to build positive and productive relationships inside and outside organization.

  • Firsthand experience of US and Canada travel and meetings strongly preferred.

  • Travel in and out of the continental US required—approximately 30% travel.
