Manager, Global Market Development, ADF

Brand: Aramis and Designer Fragrances


Main Objectives:

1.Manage global trade-marketing strategic & operational planning in partnership with all regions, including NA, EMEA, LATAM, UK, APAC and Travel Retail on assigned brands thus helping to facilitate a flawless commercial execution at all touch points.

2.Collaborate with Global Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Creative, Finance, Business Planning, Supply and fragrance licensor partners on alignment and business opportunities.

3.Impact Global Marketing development by strategically prioritizing and communicating needs of Regions.

4.Partner with appropriate licensors to communicate distribution plans, wholesale pricing and Global presentations to assist in forecasting across the globe.

Key Tasks: Business Planning

  • Oversee and help establish regional calendar and brand programs (sampling, events, merchandising).

  • Develop and ensure that global brand calendars meet the long-term plan of all regions.

  • Work with Director to review sales and NOP by brand and by region/market.

oWork in conjunction with Finance/Global Marketing/Regions to identify opportunities / challenges within current and future business models

Key Tasks: Consumer Engagement & Visual Merchandising

  • Participate and build the overall brand strategy with Global Marketing/Consumer Engagement and Regions on a seasonal basis.

oWork with Regions to develop seasonal calendars

  • Assist Regions in the formulation and preparation of launch planning.

oIncluding launch timing, distribution, POS, sampling, in-store, events and media activity

oShare best practices

Key Tasks: Distribution

  • Manage global distribution database, including new door and channel opening approval

  • Manage online pure players approval & opening

Key Tasks: Financial Reporting / Business Summary

  • Provide quarterly business update to internal colleagues and licensing partners.

  • Share best business practices with global regions when relevant.

  • Collect competitive quarterly reports.

Key Tasks: Pricing

  • Determine and agree upon price positioning of all new launches with Global Marketing and Pricing.

  • Review annual price increases/reductions proposed by region.

  • Provide SRP/Wholesale pricing guidelines to licensor.

Key Tasks: Business Meetings

  • Drive the agenda and presentation preparation for all business meetings.

Key Tasks: General

  • Other relevant assignments and research as directed by SVP/GM and/or VP.



  • 4/5 years of experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing, International Business Development or Sales in the Beauty/Fragrance industry.

  • Regional or local markets experience is required

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to get results through strong relationship building.
