Presidential Management Associate Summer 2021 Internship Program

The Estée Lauder Companies is

Management Associate Program was designed to provide exposure to the many

disciplines within the Organization in a variety of Brands, Regions and

Functions. After a series of customized rotations and job assignments, there is

job placement that will accelerate career growth. This Program is rooted in the

core mission of The Estée Lauder Companies: “Bringing the best to everyone we

touch and being the best in everything we do.”

The Presidential Management Associate

Program is an intensive, highly competitive two-year rotation program designed

to attract top global business school graduates to pursue an accelerated

pathway of career development. The program consists of four 6-month long

rotations designed to make the participant well-rounded and knowledgeable in a

particular functional area of the business.

The Estée Lauder Companies offers

first-year MBA students the opportunity to participate in the PMA Summer

Internship Program between their first and second yeas of their MBA program.

The 10-week Summer Internship Program offers participants challenging and

engaging experiences within critical business functions, working under the

guidance and sponsorship of a key executive while contributing as a functioning

member of a team.

The Marketing track provides the PMA

with exposure in the key areas of consumer, product, and digital marketing. The

PMA will have the opportunity to work with senior executives within our

powerhouse of brands and functions. Participants will also gain exposure to the

global strategy of the organization and how it is implemented throughout the

regional affiliates around the world. They will be given challenging projects

and have the opportunity to work on cross-functional teams to collaborate with

Product Development, Creative, Finance, Demand Planning or Global Brand Supply

Chain on product launches. The PMA will gain a comprehensive understanding of

ELC Brand Marketing Calendars and learn to master the art of conducting

business and competitive analysis.

Human Resources

The Human Resources track promotes a

focus on the strategic priorities within the Centers of Excellence in Global

Human Resources. The Human Resource PMA will be assigned challenging

projects and well-rounded experiences that will provide them the opportunity to

be strategic business partners, working with all levels of management.

Global Supply Chain

The Global Supply Chain track focuses

on areas including manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and distribution. The PMA

will gain exposure to strategic sourcing, tactical purchasing,

logistics/traffic management, supplier quality, global planning, and production

The Online track focuses on the

increasingly important role of digital commerce and innovation in today’s

retail landscape. The PMA will be exposed to various functions within our

Online division with a focus on ecommerce, merchandising analytics, and

omnichannel initiatives while being a part of a fast-growing area of the

Corporate Sustainability Track


Corporate Sustainability track focuses on the strategic priorities of The

Estée Lauder Companies related to the Company’s expanded sustainability

goals. Projects will focus on implementing action plans around

responsible sourcing, emissions, packaging, ingredient transparency,

learning/employee safety, and social investments and employee engagement.

The China PMA program focuses on

developing capabilities based on the business needs and priorities within

China. The PMA will intern in the US to gain the global strategic insights

needed to prepare for the full-time Program which will include rotations in NYC

& Shanghai, China. The PMA will gain exposure to global marketing inside

one of ELC’s brand with a top focus on the APAC region.

The summer internship program offersparticipants:

  • Challenging and engaging experiences within critical businessfunctions, working under the guidance and sponsorship of a key executive, whilecontributing as a functioning member of a team.

  • Corporate Business Overview with William P. Lauder, ExecutiveChairman, or Fabrizio Freda, President and Chief Executive Officer

  • Networking and profile building workshop hosted by LinkedIn

  • Program leaders committed to the development of each Summer Intern—asa member of this Program, you will develop the skills and experience needed toaccelerate your career



  • First year MBA student

  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience with a demonstrated record of achievement,strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate and influenceothers

  • Strong change management and continuous improvement skills arealso required


Our Presidential Management Associate

Program offers Global Opportunities based on work authorization— we are notable to sponsor for the Program . Those applying for tracks other than the

China track must be authorized to work in the US. Those applying for the China

track must be authorized to work in China.
