At The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY, a Human Services Agency, we are looking for a full time School Psychologistto complete diagnostic evaluations for children birth to five years old referred through the Early Intervention or Committee on Preschool Education Program, and provide on-going behavioral/learning consultation to our Roosevelt Children's Center classroom programs, among other assigned duties.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
In this role, you will complete Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plans as needed, and will assist in parent meetings and staff trainings, providing individual counseling/intervention as warranted; other tasks duties as assigned.
Must possess the following education/credentials:
- Master of Science in School Psychology
- NYS Certification in School Psychology (Public School Teacher Certification)
Desired skills and experience:
- Experience with Birth to Five population
- Experience/Knowledge of Developmental Disabilities
- Experience/Knowledge of Early Childhood Development
- Parent Education and Training Skills
- Functional Behavioral Assessment
Must possess a current, valid New York State Driver's License that meets Agency Driver standards.
Hours: Full-time Monday through Friday (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) - ten-month school calendar schedule and six week summer program.
