NISKAYUNA, NY (OPEN TO ALL US CANDIDATES)- Wonderful family moving to the NY Capital District seeks an energetic, college educated FULL-TIME NANNY for their almost 2- and 4-year-old boys. Hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday during the summer and approx. noon-6pm Monday-Wednesday, and 7am-6pm Thursday-Friday during the academic year, as both children will be in school part time (40-45 hours guaranteed). The schedule is consistent, and can flex for the right candidate. Duties are solely childcare focused: feeding, maintaining nap schedule, facilitating playtime and activities, changing diapers, picking up toys, etc. They will have a daily housekeeper, so no heavy cleaning is required. The family lives in a beautiful area on a cul-de-sac with plenty of hiking trails, a swimming pool, spa, and playroom at the home. Niskayuna is a vibrant suburban town 15 miles north of Albany, with beautiful outdoor activities, hiking and quaint shops/restaurants not too far to Lake George and the popular vacation town of Saratoga Springs. The family enjoys going on weekend adventures outdoors, and with 2 working parents still eat dinner together every night. The ideal candidate is energetic, passionate about working with children, and has experience working in a formal childcare setting. Someone who has a definite interest in childcare and has experience with children ages 2-4 years. A 4-year college degree is required, preferably in an industry related field such as early childhood development/education. Must have a safe, reliable vehicle, a clean driving record and know how to swim. Mileage reimbursement is provided while on the job if pickup/dropoffs are necessary. They are open to out of state candidates, and the position is live out. They are willing to help with relocation reimbursement. Competitive pay and benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation. Start date is July 18th but can be a bit flexible for the right candidate.

BA/BS college degree | AA in related field of study

CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)

Ability to make a one-year commitment unless applying for a temporary position

A passion for working with children

Two+ years childcare experience

Excellent work and personal references

U.S. driver's license (this does not apply to NYC residents)

Complete Stop the Silence Training upon Membership

Fluent in English/Bilingual a plus

Competent swimmer


Willing to go through extensive Background Check

Must be Live-Scanned and registered with Trustline if CA resident

Willingness to show proof of immunizations

No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
