NBT Bank Facilities Administrative Assistant in Norwich, New York

Pay Range: $16.00 - $21.14

Provide a full range of administrative support to the Facilities Department. Monitor and maintain department records, mail, property leases, property tax invoices, reports and department files as required. Notify management of any necessary updates or adjustments. Assist in dispatching of Facilities personnel and vendors to various locations for repairs and maintenance. Coordinate and maintain seasonal maintenance contracts (landscaping, snowplowing, lawn care, HVAC). Coordinate and maintain after-hour emergency contact call list schedule.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Associates degree preferred

  • Two to Five years experience in an administrative capacity

  • Facilities Administration experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to deliver superior, consistent customer service.

  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, E-mail.

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.

  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.

Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:

Participation in the after hour, emergency contact call list required. Some day travel may be required. Time outside of regularly scheduled work hours may be required.

Tasks Performed:

  • 60% Monitor, and maintain department records, mail, property leases, property tax invoices, reports, and files.

  • 25% Assist in dispatching of Facilities personnel and vendors to various locations for repairs and maintenance.

  • 10% Coordinate and maintain seasonal maintenance contracts landscaping, snowplowing, lawn care, HVAC.

  • 5% Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers

  • Stationary 75% of time or greater

  • Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
