Learning and Development Instructional Design ConsultantCategory: Advertising, Arts and MediaEmployment Type: ContractReference: BH-364989Yoh has a Remote contract opportunity for a Learning & Development Instructional Design Consultant with our client in the entertainment. - 4-month assignment (with the possibility of extension)- Pay Rate: $70.00/hr.- RemoteOverview: As the Instructional Designer, you will be an important member of the Global Customer Experience (CX) Learning & Development team. You will collaborate with a team of innovative professionals to design & create learning resources that support our front-line channel to deliver the best possible customer experience for products. You will work closely with the Global Customer Experience (CX) Learning & Development team as you build innovative and compelling new hire programs, training modules, and learning resources centered around instructional design principles and adult learning theory. You will have the opportunity to develop effective and engaging learning experiences to propel a world-class CX Team forward. We are looking for a writer to join the News & Deals team and cover timely home and lifestyle-related shopping content, including sale roundups, single product reviews, customer-loved pieces, seasonal and trending items, and more for brands in the home vertical. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about home, lifestyle, and commerce-focused stories and who can create quality content and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Support the continuous evolution of CX Learning & Development Programs,including: implementing key design improvements for new hire/existing training programs and creating new engaging training solutions centered on Instructional. Design principles- Incorporate a variety of learning methodologies designed for virtual, classroom,and self-directed delivery modalities to training programs and learning materials, integrating adult learning theory and creativity into all design elements- Participate in the program design process by assisting with needs assessments,task analysis; incorporating insights from the broader Warner Bros. Discovery team to validate training approaches.- Propose clear design solutions, considering current instructional design trends,learning technology and identify opportunities to implement new solutions that. align with business and adult learner needs.- Facilitate virtual training sessions on an ad hoc basis.- Ensure relevant curriculum is accurate and up to date. Qualifications: - Detailed knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models,including but not exclusive to ADDIE/SAM- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with exceptional interpersonal.skills, including equally able to work independently within shared directives.- Superior verbal and written communication skills; strong ability to edit andstreamline learning content for learner impact.- Some experience with facilitation and presenting learning materials to various.group sizes and leadership levels- Adaptable to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands andopportunities- Excellent organizational skills and familiarity with working in an agileenvironment, including the ability to work under tight deadlines and plan, organize, and carry out multiple, detailed tasks.- Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.- Passionate about building and cultivating a best-in-class customer experience.- Relentlessly positive and possess a 'can't be stopped' attitude.- Thorough, determined and committed to follow-through.- Maintains a growth mindset, constant learner, driven to continuously improve anddevelop expertise in customer support and learning and development. methodologies, ideally within the streaming media industry- Bachelor's degree in education, Communication, Marketing or related field ordemonstrated strength in such disciplines, preferred.- 3+ years of experience preferred, supporting Learning & Development (or relatedfield) initiatives focused on Instruction Design, preferably within a media company.- Demonstrated experience with instructional design and the creation of learning.and development materials, including new hire programs, learning modules, supporting materials, and resource guides- Comfortable scripting and creating multimedia resources, including editing video.and audio files I f this sounds like you, apply now!
