Historic Hudson Valley (HHV) is a Westchester-based cultural non-profit that welcomes visitors to five National Historic Landmarks, including Philipsburg Manor, Washington Irving’s Sunnyside, and Kykuit, the Rockefeller Estate. HHV offers an array of K-12 school programs, public tours, and seasonal festivals including the Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze. The organization has a national reputation for groundbreaking on-site educational programs and award-winning digital content in the content areas of Northern colonial enslavement, regional women’s history, and storytelling. Historic Hudson Valley seeks enthusiastic, computer-savvy individuals to join its sales and hospitality team – selling merchandise and tickets in a fast-paced museum shop. These are part-time, seasonal positions (September – December) that offer and require a lot of flexibility (weekend, holiday, and evening availability are a must). Successful candidates will have the following: A friendly manner Experience working with the public in customer service, sales, or hospitality. Computer skills and retail experience. Experience with a point-of-sale system is a plus.
