Together, the university's community of doers, makers, healers, and innovators empowers graduates to change the world, solve 21st-century challenges, and reinvent the future.For more information, visit nyit.edu.Responsibilities- Liaison between health insurance consultants and NYIT Bursar Office.- Correspond with students about upcoming open enrollment.- Track students who are aging out of parent insurance policies.- Update files on a daily basis.- Manage the insurance aspect of Orientation as well as tracking immunization status for incoming students.- Develop, strategize, and execute programs and initiatives with a focus on on-campus activities including night events.- Co-manage the Area Health Education Center (NYS AHEC) summer program and the Work-study for the AHEC students.- Develop and help manage community service projects finding local resources for development and implementation for the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM) students.- Develop workshops, programming and managing ceremonies related to student organizations and the Office of Student Life. Evening and weekend work will be needed for these programs.- Work with new organizations to assist in the registration and onboarding processing.- Participate in workshops, Orientation, White Coat, Graduation among other student events.- Provide assistance to the Student Government Association (SGA) and maintain the Translating Osteopathic Understanding into Community Health (TOUCH) program/records.- Manage the student housing list. Help with organizing mailings to students for organizations and events.
