The Department of Residential Experience and Housing at the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications for the position ofAssistant Director of Housing and Data. The Assistant Director of Housing and Data reports directly to the Director of Residential Community Life and functions under a flexible work schedule that may include weekend and evening hours.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Facilities:
Oversight of the occupancy program for 3000 bed campus
Design and execution of new and returning housing application and assignment processes
Management of room changes
Administration of residential damage billing process
Assist with furniture procurement and renovation planning
Day to day liaison with facilities and custodial
Systems/Data Maintenance:
Maintenance and administration of the housing database StarRez
Serve as StarRez superuser, program access to various levels of system, train staff on system, and work with ITS to be sure system communicates to banner
Assist with card access system
Design and distribution of weekly reports for the department, division, and college stakeholders
Assist in the compilation and analysis of historic and current occupancy date to inform future occupancy projects
Utilization of Microsoft office, specifically excel and forms to complete data collection and report development
Additional:
Serve as department liaison with Student Accounts and Dining Services as it relates to student bills
Participate in on call duty rotation
Assist with emergency/crisis management for the department
Chair department committees
Supervise full time residence hall directors

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Two (2) years full time experience in residence life/housing
Two (2) years or more experience supervising, evaluating, and selecting staff
Experience managing building occupancy
Facilities management experience
Planning, organizing and effective project management skills
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration or related field
Experience with StarRez or similar occupancy database systems
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
Highly preferred to have experience working with and serving diverse populations.
