Job Description:

The College sponsors 21 sports with 14 full-time coaches and 9 full-time support staff. The Department offers a competitive athletic program which embraces the NCAA Division III philosophy. Duties include but not limited to: overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive strategic marketing, promotions and social media plan for home athletic events for 21 sports targeting a diverse audience of campus and external constituents, managing home event statistical staff and supervising student workers and interns; maintenance and enhancements to the Athletics homepage; writing, editing and layout of game programs, the Dragon Tales newsletter which is produced three times a year; producing the end of year highlight video for the annual awards ceremony; and special projects as assigned. The coordinator will also serve on various campus committees as assigned. The nature of this position requires working nights and weekends.

Requirements:

Required qualifications: bachelor's degree; proficient working knowledge of NCAA Livestats, Stat Crew scoring software and PrestoSports statistical software; working knowledge of social media platforms specifically Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook; strong writing skills; experience in webpage use and development; proficient working knowledge in publication layout and design using Adobe Creative Suite for Macintosh computers.

Preferred: experience working in a sports information office; supervisory experience with interns and work study students; experience with video editing software for both Mac and Windows platforms; experience using Microsoft Office Suite; experience working with and serving diverse populations.
