SUNY Oneonta Testing, Quarantine and Isolation Building Managers in Oneonta, New York

The Division of Finance and Administration at the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications for the position of Testing, Quarantine and Isolation Building Managers. Two immediate openings are expected to start August 23, 2021 and run through December 31, 2021. These are live-in positions with fully furnished apartments.

Duties include but not limited to: the overall management of the residence hall that will house students in need of quarantine or isolation spaces due to COVID-19 including: room assignment, coordination of transportation, meals, packages, linen, and other needed items for student comfort; provide a quality experience to students temporarily assigned to Q&I; oversee student behavior in the building and enforce all campus policies within the residential facility; verify DOH or parental release; coordinate with facilities staff; assist with contacting residential students who missed testing dates and/or daily health screening; and assist at the weekly testing center. This position will have some weekend and evening work. These staff members will serve on the Q&I Team and report to the Q&I Coordinator.

Required qualifications: bachelor’s degree; residential living experience.

Preferred: experience working with and serving diverse populations.
