Aerotek is hiring for a Facilities Engineer

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00/hr

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventative maintenance on facilities systems, components, and structures.

• Maintain mechanical systems and repair building plumbing systems, including pumps and motors.

• Handle low and high voltage electrical systems up to 480v.

• Maintain and repair building control systems, door hardware, and fire and life safety protection equipment/systems.

• Maintain boiler operation, hot water systems, process equipment and controls, and industrial piping and valves.

• Perform snow removal during winter and landscaping during other seasons around the facility.

• Maintain and repair air handling units; clean and inspect all equipment, complete filter changes, lubricate, maintain, and service mechanical and refrigeration and/or cooling systems.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 7am-3:30pm, with occasional on-call duties that are compensated at a minimum of 4 hours pay, even for quick fixes. The facility is equipped with brand new snow removal equipment and all the necessary tools for repairs are provided.
