Oswego Hospital Community, Occupational & Employee Health NP in Oswego, New York

Position Description: Oswego Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Community, Occupational and Employee Health. The candidate will work in a busy practice that delivers care in an outpatient setting. This person will be responsible for obtaining complete medical histories, performing physical examinations, deciding fitness for duty, Oswego Health new hire employee physicals, sick visits, and providing grade required, sports, and working paper physicals to school age children. We provide job related physicals including Department of Transportation physicals, Firefighter exams (interior and exterior), respirator and asbestos physicals, etc. Working environments vary as we have locations in Oswego, Fulton and we also provide onsite physicals at the various elementary, middle and high schools for Oswego City School District, Fulton City School District, Hannibal City School District, and CITI BOCES. Flexibility with documentation is a must as both paper and electronic documentation is required. Prior experience is not required as Oswego Health welcomes new grads. The Nurse Practitioner will spend time in a clinic setting and in a school-based setting seeing clients with the support of administration and an experienced team.
