Description of Department: Facilities Services is responsible for 3.5 million square feet of facilities at a replacement value of over $1 billion. There are 250-300 employees in the Facilities Services Department. The personnel within this department work collaboratively in planning, designing, constructing, maintaining, and operating all facets of the facilities. The administration and accounting of funds for the facilities come from multiple sources. Each funding source has distinct rules, regulations, and procedures governing the location and utilization of the funds.
The Department of Facilities Services at the State University of New York at Oswego invites applications for student summer employment.
Multiple vacancies are available for Summer 2023.

ALL STUDENT EMPLOYMENT IS CONSIDERED PART-TIME. STUDENT SUMMER POSITIONS ARE FOR 29 HOURS PER WEEK.
Description of Positions Available:
Facilities Services - Shop Support- These positions will assist in the maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds, including but not limited to cleaning building interiors and exteriors, moving assets, weeding, mowing, mulching, cleaning, and waxing vehicles along with other non-skilled duties.
Facilities Services - Office Support- Customer service-oriented duties, including but not limited to data entry, filing, answering phones, greeting customers, and occasionally support to office staff in assigned projects. There are a limited amount of positions available.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Eligibility: College students enrolled in six credits or more in an undergraduate or graduate program or graduating high school students enrolled for six credits or more in a College/University for Fall 2023.
