We cannot accept cash. VACANCIES: At present one (1) vacancy exists in the Panama Central School District. DUTIES: A Supervising Lifeguard is important supervisory work involving responsibility for directing the activities of lifeguards and other personnel at a beach, pool or fitness facility that includes a pool. General instructions are received from a director but there is considerable responsibility for the exercise of sound judgment. Responsibility is involved for seeing that subordinates are thoroughly trained and high standards are maintained. Errors in judgment might result in loss of life. Does related work as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) seasons of experience as a lifeguard and possession of valid American Red Cross or equivalent certifications as determined appropriate by the appointing authority. AGE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age 18 in accordance with NYSDOH regulations.
