POSITION: Counselors for Comsewogue Summer Fun and Learning Program (PT)
ASSIGNMENT: July 5, 2023 – August 18, 2023
SITE/BUILDING: Clinton Avenue Elementary School, Port Jefferson Station
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to Summer Enrichment Director
Provides support to classroom teachers for students entering grades 1-8.
Leads student groups in structured recreational activities

July 5, 2023 – August 18, 2023
Orientation, July 5, 2023
Program runs from July 6, 2023 – August 18, 2023
THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES
START DATE: Wednesday, July 5, 2023
SALARY RANGE: $16.50/hour
Job Qualifications
High School Graduate
Ability to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school community.
Ability to independently lead student groups in various enrichment activities.
Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
