POSITION: Counselors for Comsewogue Summer Fun Program (PT)
ASSIGNMENT: July 1, 2024 – August 16, 2024
LOCATION: Comsewogue School District
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to Summer Enrichment Director
Provides support to classroom teachers for students entering grades 1-8
Leads student groups in structured recreational activities
Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates:
Orientation : June 28, 2024
Program: July 1, 2024 – August 16, 2024
Program closed July 4, 2024 and July 5, 2024
THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES
START DATE: As detailed above
SALARY: $17.00/hour
Job Qualifications
High School graduate
Ability to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school community
Ability to independently lead student groups in various enrichment activities
Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
