Eastern Suffolk BOCES Summer Enrichment Principal (PT) - Central Islip in Patchogue, New York
POSITION: Summer Enrichment Principal (PT) – Central Islip
ASSIGNMENT: July 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024
SITE/BUILDING: Francis J. O’Neill Elementary School
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises a Summer Enrichment Program with academic classes and recreational activities for students entering grades 1-6
Observes daily operations of program staff and students to assure a safe learning environment
Effectively communicates with staff, parents, and students of the program
Reports to the ESBOCES Summer Enrichment Administrators and keeps them apprised of daily activities
Oversees, distributes, and monitors supplies and equipment used in the program
Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates:
REVISED Orientation: June 27, 2024 & June 28, 2024
REVISED (Orientation hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
Program runs from July 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024 (program closed July 4th & 5th)
REVISED (Hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES
START DATE: Monday, July 1, 2024
SALARY RANGE: $106.00/hour
Job Qualifications
Appropriate NYS Certification required or Appropriate NYS License required
Ability to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school community
