POSITION: Summer Enrichment Teacher (PT) – Central Islip
ASSIGNMENT: July 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024
SITE/BUILDING: Francis J. O’Neill Elementary School
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports to Summer Enrichment Principal
Provide instruction each period in Literacy and Math
Work collaboratively with Summer Enrichment Principal, Summer Enrichment Reading Coordinator, Summer Enrichment Math Coordinator, and Summer Enrichment STEM Coordinator
Important to note that you MUST be in attendance on the following dates:
REVISED Orientation: June 27, 2024 & June 28, 2024
REVISED (Orientation hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
Program runs from July 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024 (program closed July 4th & 5th)
REVISED (Program hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
THESE POSITIONS ARE DEPENDENT UPON STUDENT ENROLLMENT AND DISTRICT COMMITMENT FOR SUMMER SERVICES
START DATE: Monday, July 1, 2024
SALARY RANGE: $61.00/hour
Job Qualifications
Appropriate NYS Certification required or Appropriate NYS License required
Ability to create a welcoming and affirming environment for all stakeholders of the school community
