Camp Topridge Line Cook in Paul Smiths, New York
Line Cook Camp Topridge, located in the heart of the Adirondacks seeks a full time, seasonal person to maintain the property/grounds of this sprawling retreat location. (This position is expected to last until mid-late October 2021) Duties include, but are not limited to: 1)Prepares meals in a timely manner 2)Responsible for seeing that all food is served at the proper temperature. 3)Responsible for following recipes when needed when preparing meals. 4)Responsible for advanced preparation of food while assuring that the quality of the product is maintained. 5)Follows proper sanitation and safety procedures and assures that safety protocols are followed. 6)Wears attire suitable and safe for position. 7)Organizes and ensures sanitation of storerooms, refrigeration units, kitchen and dining areas. 8)Follows all food safety protocols when storing and disposing left over foods. 9)Performs any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the kitchen Experience: At least one-year work experience as a cook in a restaurant or in a large volume food service program is required For consideration, please call: (518)327-1001 to arrange a time to come to complete an application.
