The Bonadio Group is seeking a Director, Talent Management to join our team!

The Director, Talent Management will be responsible for implementing a world class recruiting function for Bonadio. The primary focus will be on developing the overall talent acquisition strategy to include the creation of formal processes and procedures, building executive and regional leadership capabilities and establishing employment branding. This person will be responsible for the ongoing effort to discover talent, build a strong talent acquisition culture, identify retention strategies, and ensure a consistent experience for both candidates and internal Firm partnerships. Moreover, this person will need a well-developed ability in identifying talent and a commitment to help them find success at the Bonadio Group.

This role will report into the CHRO and lead the Talent Management Team. The ability to continually learn and use new skills, and to work in a fast-paced client-service environment is critical. We offer a competitive salary, lucrative bonuses, generous benefits, and significant perks.

  • Creates and leads recruitment and engagement initiatives to procure talent for placement in all levels/positions across our organization to ensure hiring and placement objectives are achieved.

  • Develops and implements innovative, creative, high-impact talent development, recruiting and retention strategies that enable outstanding organizational performance across the organization.

  • Collaborates with the Marketing team and supports and guides the recruitment team to create a brand that appeals to diverse applicants and removes bias. Measures and forecasts diversity metrics.

  • Seeks out new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates and build talent networks and pipelines. This may include social and professional networking sites, resume mining, outreach efforts, career fairs, website postings, special recruiting events and other advertisements as needed.

  • Evaluates results of outreach efforts on a consistent basis. Understands impacts to results and makes necessary course corrections and adjustments to ensure objectives are met in a timely manner. Identifies external trends and recognizes best practice.

  • Utilizes applicant tracking system to create and maintain requisition information, job postings and outreach details and documents talent flow and candidate dispositions. Maintains metrics, analyzes data and creates reports to identify trends and opportunities to improve our talent acquisition processes.

  • Assess and identify opportunities in talent acquisition processes and tools to simplify the talent acquisition, hiring manager, and candidate experiences that lead to more efficient and effective recruiting, screening, and selection process while ensuring data integrity, reporting, and compliance with legal and client requirements.

  • Responsible for firm wide recruiting budget inclusive of monthly oversight of current expenditures and recommendations for future recruiting expenditures.

  • Regional travel to campuses required throughout the year with a high level of travel necessary in the fall timeframe.

  • Works independently and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws / regulations and corporate procedures and guidelines.

Training Activities:

  • Assists with the preparation/delivery of Human Resource-related training at the direction of the CHRO

Employee Relation/Retention Activities:

  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners to prepare and conduct comprehensive employee orientation activities for all personnel inclusive of interns, full-time professionals and administrative personnel.

  • May assist in the conduct of relevant employee surveys both internal and external.

  • Assists with other activities or projects upon request.

  • Assists the CHRO with research, development, and implementation of human resources policies accordingly.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ year's related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. * Minimum 5+ years' experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management, required.

  • Minimum of 5+ years' direct experience in the full life cycle of recruiting, required

  • Working knowledge of Federal and state labor laws.

  • Proficient with the use of social media tools for sourcing candidates inclusive of LinkedIn, Bonadio website, and industry/campus websites.

  • Excellent computer skills. Requires intermediate to advanced skills in Word and PowerPoint. Must have advanced skills in Excel to effectively deliver recruiting analytics.

  • Outstanding ability to communicate at all levels in the organization, including front-line through Executive leadership.

  • An astute business-focused mind with the ability to think creatively to arrive at solutions. Outstanding organizational and project management abilities, excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical skills and excellent judgment.

  • Ability to be receptive and persuasive throughout all levels of the organization.

  • A strong understanding of applicable Recruiting technologies.

  • Flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.

  • Must be able to travel approximately 25% of the time.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities; Provides leadership and guidance to Talent Management Team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Hours of Operation

  • Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.

  • The ability to work additional hours during busy season is critical, but the rest of the year, flexibility is key.
