We have a tremendous opportunity for an Executive-level - Director, Project Management to lead a team of project managers repsonsible for handling, planning, and implementing IT and Firm-wide project priorities. This role requires organization, communication, business, and technology skills to gain credibility and manage multiple work streams. The Director, Project Management will be responsible for managing multiple projects for various groups including Client Service, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources as well as the details inherent in the setup and implementation of those environments.


The Director, Project Management is responsible for achievement of business goals in accordance with the Firm's strategic objectives, by managing assigned initiatives in close cooperation with the Management Committee (MC), C-suite and the Practice Leaders to ensure accurate resource forecasts.

Responsibilities are:
Evaluates projects, systems and processes
Uses financial results on a project, process, and Practice level for prioritization of improvements
Project management experience - experience leading multiple projects and teams/committees which require significant cross-functional involvement and program lifecycle management
Evaluates key Firm-wide systems and processes to determine improvement needs, collaborates with IT when appropriate
Proactively evaluates projects for opportunities to improve performance at a program level
Serves as an expert on risk management processes, with a strong ethical focus on quality
Works with all areas Firm-wide to formulate strategies and ways of working/cooperating across multiple functions
Evaluates options for automation and other technical solutions in close cooperation with the MC, Practice Leads and IT
Supports system and/or process owners, innovation leads and CIO in planning and implementing new or enhanced systems, tools, and processes
Resource Forecast
Evaluates options for improved resource forecasting
Works with MC, C-suite and Practice leads to ensure that there are adequate resources and tools at the proper time. Preserve and improve the team's knowledge and expertise.
Manages the Project Management office with Firm-wide responsibilities (hiring, training, performance management, career development)
Lead and prepare quality, timely proposals for Firm-wide stand-alone projects that support business and financial objectives
Drives and participates in the business planning process, ensuring projects and initiatives are aligned to and achieving the Bonadio's Strategic goals
Partners with the MC and Practice Leads to understand their needs and ensures projects and systems are appropriately aligned
Escalates issues to leadership as appropriate
Leads the development of the strategic plan and key business drivers from a project management standpoint
Translates the strategic plan into operational initiatives to ensure alignment of priorities between Practices, operations, and technology functions
Establishes governance structure and reports progress of all assigned projects to the MC
Oversees the entire initiative life cycle from inception to close-out
Manages risks and internal controls
Manage project finances
Leads the implementation of the Firm's end to end service roadmap


Educational requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or other related field required.
Minimum of five years of prior experience actively managing medium to large projects with expertise in using project management software and leading all resources, including an interdepartmental team.
Hours of Operation
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.
The ability to work additional hours during busy season is critical, but the rest of the year, flexibility is key.
