Forensic Accountant/Business Advisory Consultant

We have a tremendous opportunity for a business and advisory consultant to assist clients with efficiency studies, internal control evaluations, policy and procedure reviews, cost reduction studies, and special projects. Special projects may include fraud investigations, forensic accounting and litigation support.
Work directly with experienced Bonadio consultants to assist clients with a variety of financial and operational studies and projects
Communicate directly with clients to perform information gathering interviews, request data and documentation and present final reports, analysis and recommendations
Conduct consulting fieldwork - interviews, walkthroughs, process-mapping exercises, data analysis, compliance testing, etc.
Perform testing and analytical procedures with large datasets
Write comprehensive reports detailing project procedures, observations, findings and recommendations, based on work completed, industry research, experience and knowledge
Manage multiple ongoing consulting engagements simultaneously
Minimum 2 years' experience in public accounting, business consulting, business analytics or related field
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Advanced MS Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with a team of multi-disciplined professionals
Ability to travel if needed, travel is estimated to be about 15%
Bachelors degree in accounting, business advisory, business analytics, project management or another related field of study
CPA license preferred but not mandatory
CFE license preferred but not mandatory
Hours of Operation
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.
The ability to work additional hours during busy season is critical, including Saturday's, but the rest of the year, flexibility is key.
