Bonadio is looking to hire a high-performance Recruiting and Benefits Coordinator who will become an important member of the Firm’s Human Resources Team based in Rochester, NY. This position will report into both the Talent Management team and the Benefits Team.
The Recruiting and Benefits Coordinator will play a critical role in the day-to-day candidate sourcing activities within the Talent Management team. This role will coordinate all the sourcing activities but also work closely together with recruiters, hiring managers and other members of the Human Resources team.
Activities include managing the various sourcing channels and the Firms talent pool and regularly interacting with both active and passive candidates. You should be a friendly, proactive, organized, and self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
In addition, the Recruiting and Benefits Coordinator will work closely with the Benefits Manager to collaborate across the Enterprise & Client Service teams to provide operational, process-related support around Bonadio’s employee benefits. This role requires terrific analytical capabilities, strong interpersonal skills, and an eye for details and accuracy.
Co-develops and implements an effective sourcing strategy
Works together with the recruiter and hiring managers to define candidate personas
Sources suitable candidates through various sourcing channels
Drafts and sends out recruiting emails to potential candidates
Has knowledge of how to use the various sourcing channels
Knows how to use sourcing tools and technology
Is able to reach out to all levels of candidates and engage with them
Promotes our Firm and culture when they reach out to candidates on various platforms
Is able to build and maintain a talent pool that can meet the Firms future hiring needs
Keeps track of pre-defined sourcing metrics and reports on them
Follows up on employee referrals
Manage Agency agreements/contracts, contacts, connections, and their candidates through the process.
Reviews and approves all ongoing Firm billing for related benefit contracts.
Assists Benefits Manager with employee inquiries regarding the Firms benefits programs.
Assists Benefits Manager with the annual open enrollment process which includes ensuring data integrity of the online enrollment system, Firm wide employee communication, and HRBP support.
Administers Workers Compensation program including timely filing of claims, monitoring open claims, coordinating prompt return to work dates/details by effectively communicating with employees, supervisors, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
Participants in the Firm Wellness Committee and assists in all Firm-wide wellness related initiatives.
Collaborates with the HRBPs, payroll, finance, general counsel and other teams as needed.
Bachelor degree in HRM, psychology, education, business, and/or related business experience
1+ years’ experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role in the HR department
Demonstrate affinity with candidate sourcing and recruitment techniques
Familiarity with sourcing tools, HR systems (including an ATS), LinkedIn, social media resources i.e. Facebook, Glassdoor, etc., and candidate management systems
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and level or urgency to follow up
Microsoft knowledge in Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
Strong sales skills
Ability to effectively present both our positions and our Firm to candidates
Hours of Operation
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Our summer hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.
The ability to work additional hours during busy season is critical, but the rest of the year, flexibility is key.
