Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Prepare concise individual income tax returns.
Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current tax trends.
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
Handle and manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects and engagements on time, within budget and to the client's satisfaction.
Deliver quality client service (internal staff/external clients) and value while establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in client tax preparation
Excellent time management skills, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of Outlook
Computer proficiency and effectively applying technology tools in assigned areas
Exceptional customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience working in public accounting
Proficiency in ProSystem FX tax software
Self-starter with the ability to handle and manage multiple priorities
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hours/Location:
This is a full-time Seasonal opportunity located in the Pittsford, New York office.
Office hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, ability to work additional hours during peak work periods including Saturday is critical.
