Overview The Electrical Engineering Intern works under close supervision of senior engineers, taking direction on a daily basis in support of varying needs. Activities can include research, design and development engineering support, hands-on work for testing and prototyping, and other related needs. Responsibilities Support senior engineering as directed. Learn about and adhere to essential procedures and processes This position does require you to work on site in Plainview, NY Qualifications Minimum: Currently enrolled in and working toward a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Must be returning to school in the Fall of 2023 Minimum GPA of 3.0 This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a US person under US export laws or, eligible for approval for a U.S. Government export license. A US Person includes a US citizen, lawful Permanent Resident, refugee or asylee. Preferred: Completed through Junior Year Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project Salary Range: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour.
