The Engineering Program Manager Intern will work with and assist Staff Program Manager, learning complex wafer processing equipment involving vacuum process equipment technologies used in the manufacturing of semiconductor components. Working with the Staff Program manager and members of the Engineering team this intern will be responsible for assisting in management of day-to-day program management task and related engineering projects. The Engineering Program Manager Intern will work on various tasks such as program planning, updating project task list, monitoring ECO's to ensure timely releases, learning Costed BOM, Scheduling, and PLC deliverables. This position will build strong interpersonal and communication skills and coordination with personnel from multiple functional areas, including, Technology, Engineering, Technical Support, Operations, and Supply Chain. This role is a great learning experience for individual who wants to pursue a career path in New Product Development program management.


Full-time employment during the Summer(40 hours a week)

Part-time employment during Fall semester (minimum of 16 hours a week)


Assist Staff Program Manger in the planning and execution of New Product development programs

Learn and Support project life cycle (PLC) development

Manage tasks assigned by Staff Program manager and report on status

Learn product cost targets and engineering program budgets

Coordinate with Technology and Engineering leaders to develop an Engineering resource plan.

Overall observe, learn, and help PM's Drive the development, execution, and completion of programs


Enrolled in a Masters program with an engineering focus orBachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Control or Software Engineering preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of key engineering and technology areas.

Ability to multi-task and work with a cross-functional team in a matrixorganization

Ability to interpret engineering drawings

Experience with ERP/MRP systems a plus, with SAP experience preferred

Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems. AutoCAD and SolidWorks are preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment are required

Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
