PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Jr. Marketing Associate will report directly to the Senior VP of Seasonal Business but will work in tandem with all Product managers.

  • Work closely with sourcing, factories and testing agencies to maintain product timelines

  • Create P&L for all products and new launches.

  • Create and maintain new product development flowcharts in order to maintains all cross functional teams informed.

  • Create and maintain new product development projects in the internal company software.

  • Maintain close communication with headquarters in Germany and provide feedback on product development and market updates.

  • Set up item SKUs, data, and pricing into internal IBS system.

  • Maintain and optimize current data to work better with Qlikview sales data analysis.

  • Manage categories price list, (weights, dimensions, item numbers, UPCs and formatting) and updates the IBS system.

  • Create and manage one exclusive products price list that will house all categories.

  • Manage contract pricing submission from the sales team.

  • Conduct competitive analysis on a regular basis.

  • Work with the company trainer to ensure that every new market launch gets the proper information communicated.

  • Proof pricing and copy on marketing sell sheets & catalogs, together with the Trade Marketing team

  • Coordinate sample shipments to customers / vendors / suppliers

  • Develop and maintain use & care and Q&A documents for all products, to be shared with cross-functional teams.

  • Test various products in our cooking studio, that have been / are being developed and create a result(s) recap to be shared with the team.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years of experience in similar roles

  • Consumer goods experience , and experience working with imports

  • Basic knowledge in managing pricing, P&L’s and/or sales support role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related course of study

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to effectively manage and execute projects in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to details, accuracy, and timing.

  • Must be a self-starter with creativity and initiative.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and partner with cross-functional teams including sales, finance, graphic design, sales, and external vendors.

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timeline ss.
