PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Product Specialist in the Seasonal department will collaborate and report directly to the Senior VP of Seasonal Department but will work in tandem with multiple department Product Managers.

  • Work closely with international teams including sourcing, manufacturing, and testing agencies to guide and maintain product timelines.

  • Own P&L for all seasonal products and new launches.

  • Build and maintain documentation used to coordinate cross-functional operations.

  • Communicate project timeline progression with international divisions including Germany, China, etc.

  • Work closely with department’s sales and marketing teams

  • Set up item SKUs, data, and pricing into internal IBS system.

  • Conduct competitive and new opportunity analysis on a regular basis.

  • Coordinate sample shipments to customers / vendors / suppliers

  • Test various products that have been / are being developed and create a result(s) recap to be shared with the team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-5 years of experience in similar roles

  • CPG experience

  • Experience working with imports 

  • Basic knowledge in managing pricing, P&L’s and/or sales support role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related course of study 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to effectively manage and execute projects in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to details, accuracy, and timing.

  • Must be a self-starter with creativity and initiative.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and partner with cross-functional teams

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
