The Arc Mid-Hudson has a front-line management opportunity, supporting people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, at Hoyt residence in Port Ewen.
Hoyt residence is located across the street from the Port Ewen Beach, providing beautiful views of the Hudson River. Seven outgoing and active people, six ladies and one gentleman, live here. The ladies enjoy keeping up on the latest fashion trends, and love to plan parties for any type of occasion, while the one gentleman prefers his quiet time, catching up on the latest book in his reading collection. Responsibilities for this seasoned manager include supervising staff and assuring that plans of care are followed for the individuals we support. This experienced manager will possess an Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Services or a related field, and will have strong organizational skills and supervisory experience. Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.
The Arc Mid-Hudson offers an extensive and informative new hire orientation in a comfortable learning environment. We also provide additional development opportunities for our management staff.
HOURS: 40/Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm/Monday through Thursday - 11:00 am to 7:00 pm/flexible, based on needs of program
STARTING SALARY: $ 58,500 per year
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
Supervisory experience
Computer skills
Acceptable NYS Driver's license
