Solid Waste Laborer Position Overview
Outworx Group is currently seeking individuals to assist in our sweeping division in Port Washington, NY. We are seeking skilled laborers that have experience with the following.
Solid Waste Laborer Responsibilities
Picking up debris from areas unreachable by our power broom sweeper.
Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor.
Load and unload truck with debris.
May be needed to drive Company van to different job sites.
Solid Waste Laborer Requirements
Be able to carry and operate a blower backpack.
Must be a member of local 813
Lifting up to 50 lbs. without restrictions.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and in all weather and temperature conditions.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift, grasp, carry, push and pull.
Must be 18yrs old.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
