Clarkson University EMT/Summer Event Assistant in Potsdam, New York

EMT/Summer Event Assistant Clarkson University is a nationally recognized research university with signature areas of academic excellence and research directed toward the world's pressing issues. The Marketing and External Relations Department at Clarkson University invites applicants to apply for the position of EMT/Summer Event Assistant. Clarkson is looking to hire full time EMTs to assist with summer camps from June 1 - August 1, 2021. Position opportunities include full-time, part-time and flexible scheduling. Employees will be expected to assist in a variety of tasks including but not limited to: check-ins, administering medications daily, reports, daily care and maintenance of infirmary, safety checks, and more. This temporary position is located in Potsdam, NY. Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent. All EMTs must have a minimum of the basic level EMT certification and current CPR certifications acceptable by the New York State Department of Health. Must have valid driver's license and be approved by Clarkson University to drive a university vehicle unless specifically excused by the university, this includes clearance of driving records and passing an online driving test, and candidates must also be cleared through the New York State Sex Abuse Registry.
