Picture yourself here: When you join PPGNY as the Data and Systems Assistant you will assist the Security Officer in the day to day management of all security systems including access control, intrusion and video managements systems.
Additional responsibilities include:
Maintain and update systems to coordinate and facilitate work flow;
Prepares for approval, purchase orders, check requests, credit card reconciliations and reimbursements via software programs;
Organize and prioritize tasks and work with department leadership to maintain historical records
Assist in the management of all department software systems including access control, intrusion, video management, space management and facilities ticking softwares
Print and program name badges
Monitor security cameras at the direction of the Security Officer;
Prioritize and respond to emergent situations, analyze and take appropriate action which may include outsourcing the work
A demonstrated commitment to PPGNY’s mission related to bodily autonomy, health equity, and gender and racial justice
High School diploma or GED
Prior work experience: at least 2 years prior business related work experience
Experience with non-profits preferred
What makes you stand out:
2+ years experience managing security systems a plus
Current Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
Ability to perform complex tasks accurately and timely;
Ability to prioritize multiple projects
Maintain current knowledge of department structure, workflow and operating procedures
Intermediate to advanced level of skill in Microsoft Office products;

Proof of immunization or immunity to certain communicable diseases (including influenza during the flu season) and testing for tuberculosis. These certifications are required by the NYC DOHMH Health Code, NYSDOH and OSHA.
