Job Title: Production Operator

Pay: $22-$25/hr (depending on experience)

Shift: 2nd shift

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and adjusting equipment to optimize production processes. Your duties will include working on conveyor lines, preparing and packing materials, checking product quality to meet standards, resolving production issues, adhering to safety protocols, and documenting production data. Collaboration with coworkers, supervisors, and maintenance technicians is essential. You will participate in hands-on training and report directly to the Shift Supervisor.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a production floor with 20-30 employees, adhering to strict GMP guidelines in a food production/manufacturing setting. 2nd shift (1:00PM - 9:00PM+). Extended hours are common, potentially until 11PM - 12AM during the companies busy season. Dress code includes clean jeans, T-shirt, and work boots with provided uniforms upon permanent hiring
