Associate Manager, U.S. Consumer Insights&Analytics - Sparkling BrandsOverview Remote but has to be a HUB location in the U.S.Join the Pepsico Beverages North America (PBNA) Insights & Analytics Team and specifically Insights & Analytics for the Sparkling brands portfolio in Purchase, NY. Reporting to the Insights & Analytics Sr. Manager, this Associate Manager role will be accountable for partnering closely with the U.S. commercial, strategy, and communications marketing teams in support of iconic sparkling brands such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Bubly and Starry. Focus on each brand may change during different times of the year depending on business needs. Primary projects include creative/advertising testing, innovation testing for new product launches and category centric foundational research. Other projects include annual brand performance assessments, seasonal promotions testing, brand positioning and big brand idea development, etc. If you’re a natural data-driven storyteller, are inclined to follow your curiosity, know how to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and want to work on amazing, dynamic brands, this could be an ideal opportunity for you!Level; L9 Title: Associate Manager, Insights & Analytics PBNAResponsibilities- Incorporate consumer-based insights across all planning, including marketing initiatives, consumer communications as well as annual and strategic business planning- Support development and execution of insights roadmap against business objectives, timelines, and budget for brand initiatives in support of the annual operating plan (AOP)- Lead and execute innovation pipeline (familiarity with concept creation, Zappi and BASES testing is a plus) and foundational research for carbonated soda drinks category- Leverage syndicated data sources (i.e., IRI scanner and panel data, etc.) to help monitor the brand/category and address business issues and information needs- Monitor and diagnose brand and category business needs- Ready the near-term AOP commitments by executing necessary research activities related to commercial and communication needs- Deliver data-driven, compelling business storytelling to ensure insights inspire strategic decision-making- Work with vendors to analyze data and extract meaningful and actionable insights with minimal oversight- Work in highly collaborative & cross team environment, including Innovation, Strategy, Commercial, R&D and Global counterparts on innovation and communication initiativesCompensation and Benefits:- The expected compensation range for this position is between $81,000- $135,600 based on a full-time schedule- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out Annually.- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement- In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement PlanQualificationsSkills Profile:- Strong hands-on background with IRI/Nielsen scanner and panel data; must be skilled interpreting and applying- Experience with a broad range of qualitative and quantitative research techniques- Natural curiosity about people and deep human empathy- Deep understanding of how to turn insights into action and impact the commercial agenda- Well-versed in research methodologies and possess the ability to apply insights to address business challenges- A team player, who thrives on working collaboratively in a highly-matrixed environmentMinimum Job Requirements:- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a strategic insights role. Experience in CPG/market research/consulting firms preferred- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree- Well-versed in research methodologies and possess the ability to apply insights to address business challenges.- Strong consumer advocate and ability to influence decisions- Excellent project management skills- Strong initiative and results orientation- Sense of fiscal responsibility- Covid-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment dependent on role and location.
