The Role
The Player Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for players leading up to and during the 2025 US Open. This position supports the Professional Tennis Operations team by managing administrative and operational tasks, coordinating logistics, and assisting with player services and event execution.
Dates: June 2, 2025 - September 9, 2025
Provide operational and administrative support to the Professional Tennis Operations and Player Relations team.
Assist with seasonal staff coordination, including uniform distribution, paperwork processing, and training support.
Oversee player area setup, including locker rooms, fitness center, practice courts, lounges, and offices, ensuring all areas are fully stocked and maintained.
Manage room assignments and key distribution for player areas.
Collaborate with facility operations to address player area needs and maintenance.
Support player communication efforts, including the preparation of documents, collateral, and signage for player areas.
Assist in the planning and execution of player gifting programs and US Open champions' events.
Liaise with external vendors to ensure timely and successful delivery of services.
Oversee the physical setup and breakdown of all player spaces, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
Who You Are
Previous experience in sports, entertainment, or hospitality event environments is required; experience working directly with athletes or VIPs is a plus.
Experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a high-pressure, fast-paced event setting.
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
Strong ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with players, staff, and vendors.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and carrying objects and standing for extended periods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
