Summary:
New York Edge is seeking a qualified and highly motivated candidate to fill the role of Administrative Assistant. In this part-time role, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of our Executive Department and Chief Advancement and Communications Officer. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized, have good judgment, discretion, and enjoy working as part of a team. Ultimately, you will contribute to the impact of our organization by providing personalized and timely support to our leadership.
This position will begin on a remote basis and will be required to work in person when New York Edge returns in-person to the office.
Job Type:
Part-Time, Year-Round
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 25 hours a week
Responsibilities:
Schedule meetings, both remote and in person, primarily for the CEO, and also for the Chief Advancement and Communications Officer, and other team members as requested.
Coordinate travel and restaurant reservations; anticipate and resolve calendar conflicts; circulate meeting confirmations and materials
Handle expenses and prepare reports
Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
Work closely with the CEO's Executive Administrator to provide top-notch, seamless support to the CEO and executive team.
Support CEO’s Executive Administrator as needed
Support the Advancement and Communications Department with projects as requested, including but not limited to data entry and mailings.
Represent the organization in a professional manner during internal and external interactions

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an office setting.
COVID-19 Related Requirements:
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination required
Must be willing to follow all Federal, State, and Local guidelines and mandates regarding COVID-19 such as wearing PPE and remaining socially distant.
