Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, up to 25 hours per week
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our Compliance Department. In this role, you will assist with the completion, fulfillment, and record-keeping of government proposals, reports, contracts, and compliance documents. Additionally, you will support compliance training coordination and contract systems administration. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Government Contracts Support:
Track and document all outreach, grant, and award documentation consistently and regularly.
Update and maintain documents for external government proposals and contracts.
Support New York Edge public RFP responses, including contacting school partners, creating task lists, adhering to deadlines, and assisting staff with timely application and submission completion.
Assist with the administration of external government contracts, including supporting internal and external audit activities and data requests.
Review, organize, and archive files, records, documents and support data migration to the Salesforce platform.
- Compliance Training Support:
Assist in the development and implementation of compliance training programs.
Schedule and organize training sessions, including booking venues, arranging equipment, and managing participant lists.
Provide logistical support during training sessions, including setting up equipment, distributing materials and supporting trainers and facilitators.
Education Requirement(s):
High School Diploma required.
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or completed bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience Requirement(s):
Two (2) + years of experience in operations coordination, partnership management, or related roles.
School-based operations experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in building relationships to advance goals and objectives, preferably in a not-for-profit setting.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in contract management, vendor relations, and procurement processes.
Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks performed.
Proficient in using productivity tools and software, such as MS Office Suite, Google Docs, Salesforce, and contract management platforms.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and problem-solve.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Work is performed mostly within an office setting but may involve interacting with the community at-large during events, outreach, and meetings.
May be required to walk up and down stairs, lift or move objects/materials as needed.
Work hours will be consistent Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
