The HR Coordinator will assist with tasks across all functions of the HR department
Support and guide employees through various human resource processes
Assist with enhancing employee engagement through coordination of department & corporate events
Create and/or distribute communications
Administrative support to the human resource function
Process new hires, status changes, and terminations in the HRIS system
Coordinate HR events and summer internship programs
Administer health benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations
Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and creating employment offer letters

1+ year of HR experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Our client is within consumer goods products space of high-end retail. They have over 100 stores in different cities, and over 700 employees.
Hybrid Work Model - 2 days in office (Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY) 3 days from home
$1,500 clothing allowance + 50% off after that for the year
Ability to attend SHRM Conference
Working closely with leadership to grow into an HR Generalist/HR Manager
