New York Edge Human Resource Coordinator in Queens, New York

Summary:

New York Edge is seeking for a detail-oriented and mission driven individual to fill the position of Human Resources Coordinator. In this full-time role, you will provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry and writing reports. A successful candidate to this position will have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Full Time: 35 Hours Per Week

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

    Primary Job Functions:

  • Preparing job offers and tracking candidates through the acceptance of offers

  • Participating in recruitment events, talking to potential hires, and distributing promotional materials

  • Posting job openings and tracking applicants

  • Assisting HR Recruiters with screening applicants and scheduling interviews

  • Working closely with Compliance Team, Onboarding Specialist, and Payroll Manager to ensure successful onboarding of all employees

  • Updating application statuses on ADP and internal ATS

  • Performing customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions

  • Performing clerical functions such as photocopying, mailing, scanning and emailing documents

  • Assisting with audits of New York Edge’s human resource policies, practices, and procedures

  • Performing other related duties as assigned

    Required skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills

  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

  • Knowledge and previous experience using HRIS and ATS

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preference in human resources, business management or other related field

  • Minimum of two years working in an office setting with at least one of those years being in a HR capacity

  • Must have passion for NYE mission and values
