New York Edge Talent Recruitment Specialist (Part-Time) in Queens, New York

Summary:

New York Edge is seeking a qualified and highly motivated candidate to fill the role of HR Recruitment Specialist. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for finding, sourcing, attracting and hiring talent with the goal to fulfill New York Edge’s hiring needs. As a recruiting talented people is getting harder, this position will play a crucial role for our New York Edge to stay competitive in the market.

Pay:

Up to $25.00/hr. Pay is commensurate with experience.

Job Type:

Part Time, Year-long

Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 25 hours a week

Essential Job Functions:

  • Search resume databases for the most fit candidates

  • Communicate with Hiring Managers to gain better understanding of needs

  • Prepare and send out offer letters

  • Support organizational recruitment goals and objectives

  • Write and proofread job descriptions

  • Recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting

  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements

  • Interview candidates following New York Edge’s rules and regulations

  • Adhere to laws, rules and regulations

  • Adhere to personal data privacy regulations

  • Prepare a report on a weekly basis for the tasks completed or in progress

Required Skills:

  • Passion to grow within the field of HR and Talent Acquisition

  • Ability and willingness to learn about the position requirements

  • Ability to scan large volumes of resumes

  • Understanding and familiarity with Recruitment Marketing

  • Good understanding and experience with HR tools such as ATS and HRIS

  • Adept at using Micorsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Team player

  • Good time-management skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Some College Preferred

  • Minimum of two years of working in a professional office setting; experience working in recruitment is preferred but not required

Covid-19 Related Requirement:

  • Proof of vaccination against the Covid-19 virus is required

  • Must be willing to adhere to all federal, state, and local mandated related to the Covid-19 virus including but not limited to wearing PPE and remaining socially distant when
