2 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 4/22/2025- 11/11/2025.

All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform the work described in this job order and must be available for the entire period of employment specified in boxes 3 & 4 on page 1. Workers are needed to plant, maintain, and harvest multiple fruit crops including apples, cherries, peaches, plums, apricots, blueberries, and strawberries.

Workers must be able to pick apples and climb ladder repetitively while carrying a picking bucket which is harnessed over the workers shoulders. Workers will perform farm vehicle and tractor maintenance and repair. Workers will take part in cleaning and organizing equipment barn and shop spaces.

Workers must have previous commercial experience and ability to perform various tasks required in fruit production including hand-thinning, hand-weeding, pruning, pruning clean-up, tree stabilization, trunk painting, trellis installation, tree-training, orchard sanitation. Workers must also be able to help keep the overall farm and grounds clean and orderly. Workers will be operating tractors, string trimmers, chainsaws, and other farm equipment that is needed to maintain the fruit crops and farm. Workers will sort, wash, pack, and otherwise prepare various crops for storage and retail sale, as well as transport and deliver various crops from field to farm buildings. Workers will load and unload farm vehicles, setup and operate various types of irrigation equipment, and cut vegetation or brush from in and around fields, buildings, fence lines, and equipment. Workers may operate trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including on public roads to reach farmer's fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, and western union on an as-needed basis. Those that are requested to drive will be required to possess a valid drivers license; no worker will be rejected for not having a driver's license.

In the event of inclement weather, workers may be asked to help with cleaning inside farm buildings. Workers will also assist in preparation for pick-your-own operations including sign installation. The employer will provide 1 day of training and allow 2 days of work for the workers to satisfactorily perform duties described in this job description. Employers will furnish all tools and equipment required at no cost to workers.

Workers may be required to work 9 hours shifts between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm from Monday through Friday, and workers may be required to work 7 hours shift between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm on Saturday. Workers will be given 60 minutes for lunch and a 15-minute break in the morning and afternoon and return to work after their 60 minutes are up. Workers need to check in with employer before every shift, and at the end of every shift. The beginning and ending times each day and the number of hours per day will vary depending on weather and crop conditions. Workers must be willing to work in varied weather conditions. Workers must be able to take direction in simple English.
