Position Purpose:

The Member Services Trainer will deliver impactful, engaging sessions that prepare new and seasoned call center associates to deliver exceptional member experiences while creating an ongoing appreciation for learning and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver or facilitate interactive trainings that create positive learning experiences.

  • Develop and deliver both technical and soft skill training programs for new hires and seasoned call center associates.

  • Identify learning objectives and design learning solutions, delivery modes and effectiveness measures that build and enhance knowledge and skill transfer.

  • Assess trainee performance and partner with leadership to provide ongoing support beyond classroom training.

  • Attend workshops, review professional publications, work to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of instructional technologies and adult learning principles.

  • Perform duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes.

  • Must be able to travel up to 10%

Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Prior Training experience required and background in Healthcare and / or Managed Care preferred.

  • Supervisory and leadership skills with experience in coaching and mentoring individuals with performance based metrics.

  • Strong communication skills, including policy and procedure development.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to provide a progressive training experience to both individuals and groups.

  • Ability to effectively design, present and facilitate various technical and soft skill training programs across the organization using sound instructional design methodology.

  • Ability to manage a classroom, facilitate complex discussions and create a dynamic and positive learning environment.

  • Systems implementation experience, including process design and development preferred.

  • Ability to identify gaps in performance and make potential suggestions to leadership team on how to improve upon those gaps.

  • Knowledge of organizational development and quality principles.

  • Applied knowledge of training practices, techniques and the principles of adult learning.

  • Experience in multi-media training: classroom, Web-based, blended, and video learning environments, preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Facets; Salesforce; PowerPoint.
