Faculty job description:

The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology has an opening for an Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates with clinical expertise in all areas of pediatric endocrinology, which are Board Eligible or Board Certified, and the care of children with conditions expected in the purview of the field of pediatric endocrinology. The candidate will join four pediatric endocrinologists, three pediatric nurse practitioners, two dietitians, and other division members in a university hospital-based practice. The providers attend to 5000 visits/year, 90% outpatient. Call is shared equally among the physicians, thus allowing for a very comfortable call schedule. The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology treats a broad spectrum of endocrinologic disorders and collaborates with an excellent residency program and medical school. The position will have clinical duties and teach medical students and residents.

Duties may include any combination of the following: patient care, teaching, independent or sponsored research, administrative duties, community outreach, and University-related public service. The exact distribution of responsibilities will vary depending on University, Department, and Division needs. In general, successful applications will be expected to be productive members of the University community, measured by patient care, active research, teaching, and administrative service. The division team works collaboratively with in-house teams, including hospitalists, intensivists, and neonatologists.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $160,000 - $190,000 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
