We are currently hiring for a CORE Outreach Specialist in our Rochester, NY Area!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for the identification of potential Venture Forthe clients Behavioral Health Clients. This involves generating referrals by building strong relationships with community referral sources. Additionally, this person is responsible for:
Developing and maintaining relationships with community referral sources such as, but not limited to, Hospitals, Drug and Mental Health Courts, Care Management agencies, Substance Abuse clinics, Mental Health Clinics and other community service agencies.
Serving as a liaison in matters relating to referral source satisfaction and needs determination.
Attending events, coalition meetings, and accepts leadership roles in various community boards.
Identifying and sourcing opportunities to promote company within the respective targeted communities and audiences.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 2 years direct experience in Mental Health or Human Services and Marketing/Sales
Seasoned professional with a minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare experience in marketing and servicing referral sources
Ability to effectively prepare and present company presentations to a variety of audiences.
Expert communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess exceptional organizational skills, self-directed and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
Competent knowledge base of healthcare and its applications in home care. Have experience working in healthcare and have existing and/or the potential to develop industry relationships.
Expected travel up to 80%.
