Detailed Job Description:

The Enrollment Representative & Coordinator in the College of Engineering Technology (CET) is the outward facing enrollment liaison and expert for enrollment projects and initiatives. The position engages with prospective undergraduate students, and families, builds programs aimed at engaging potential CET students, facilitates CET’s expansion in the adult and online marketplace, and in general, is the enrollment expert for the College of Engineering Technology.

The position requires an individual who has exceptional recruiting skills, can lead projects and initiatives to drive demand and build enrollment, and can make meaningful contributions to new projects aimed at growing the enrollment of the College of Engineering Technology. The position reports to the Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Continuous Improvement within the College of Engineering Technology but is integrated in the processes and programs in RIT’s enrollment management division. Some after-hours, weekend work and travel is required for success.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Approximately four or more years of experience in a higher education admissions environment or in a sales capacity with demonstrated success in either environment

  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of communication formats including online and social networking formats

  • Computer and intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills are essential.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and communication skills are required

  • Exceptional organizational, follow-through, listening, and time management skills are critical

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with diverse prospective student populations, and collaborate with university faculty and administration internally and externally

  • Ability to travel and some evening and weekend hours required, especially during the peak recruitment season

  • Utilize data analytics, spreadsheets and contacts database(s) consistently and effectively
