JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

*SHIFT: *6:00am - 6:00pm (schedule is always days, but days rotate weekly)


Perform a variety of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance duties to include but not limited to set-up, build, repair, and support highly specialized or process type machines.



  • Troubleshoot problems and takes corrective action by recommending and/or performing all types of maintenance to include but not limited to diagnosing and repairing specific equipment and maintaining electrical, mechanical and pneumatic control systems.

  • Interprets and applies written specifications, schematic drawings, parts lists, prints and sketches to installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

  • Maintain documentation according to Federal and Internal procedures.

  • Perform other duties as directed to include but is not limited to: plumbing, electronics, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning.



  • Aptitude, knowledge, and/or experience with basics of one or more skilled trade such as electrician, machinist, pipefitter

  • Familiarity with shop trade terminology and materials used, general knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques

  • Ability to use tools and test equipment properly

  • PC proficiency

  • Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC’s)

  • Utilize lean principles and concepts to identify and implement process improvement projects

  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to prioritize daily workload and track preventative maintenance tasks

  • Experience performing preventative maintenance on various types of equipment

  • Familiar with FDA regulations

  • Exhibits excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language

  • Must be hands on oriented and possess your own tools

  • Willing to learn and stay current with changes in technology
