JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician
*SHIFT: *6:00am - 6:00pm (schedule is always days, but days rotate weekly)
Perform a variety of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance duties to include but not limited to set-up, build, repair, and support highly specialized or process type machines.
Troubleshoot problems and takes corrective action by recommending and/or performing all types of maintenance to include but not limited to diagnosing and repairing specific equipment and maintaining electrical, mechanical and pneumatic control systems.
Interprets and applies written specifications, schematic drawings, parts lists, prints and sketches to installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
Maintain documentation according to Federal and Internal procedures.
Perform other duties as directed to include but is not limited to: plumbing, electronics, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES/
Aptitude, knowledge, and/or experience with basics of one or more skilled trade such as electrician, machinist, pipefitter
Familiarity with shop trade terminology and materials used, general knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to use tools and test equipment properly
Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC’s)
Utilize lean principles and concepts to identify and implement process improvement projects
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to prioritize daily workload and track preventative maintenance tasks
Experience performing preventative maintenance on various types of equipment
Familiar with FDA regulations
Exhibits excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language
Must be hands on oriented and possess your own tools
Willing to learn and stay current with changes in technology

- High School Diploma/GED required
