St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students each year. The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education was created in 2003 and is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Education Preparation ( CAEP ). The School provides degree options at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels to prepare education professionals for certification as well as teaching and leadership careers in schools, elementary through high school. The EdD Program in Executive Leadership at St. John Fisher University is seeking qualified adjunct instructors for its New Rochelle, NY extension site at Iona University.

Education / Experience:
Qualifications include:
Holding an earned doctorate or equivalent experience
Significant experience, knowledge and skill in one or more of these areas:
qualitative research methods
quantitative research methods
public policy, law, and ethics
shared governance
leadership theory
public and human relations
diversity, equity, and inclusion
assessment and program evaluation
finance and resource development
human resource development
Competencies / Skills:
Successful leadership experience with an understanding of the policies, best practices, challenges, and opportunities in complex organizations
Experience working with and leading diverse populations
Teaching experience
Experience with Course Management System and other instructional technologies
Willingness to teach a hybrid course that spans seven weeks over two months with online components and one Friday night/Saturday day in person teaching per month
