The Global Managed Services (GMS) team exists to help practitioners leverage the market opportunity in managed services. Within GMS, the Solutions and Commerical Enablement team leads programs to create critical foundations supporting high-quality solutions, deals, and delivery operations.
With a planned change in the GMS Enablement Solution leader assignment, the Enablement Leader seeks to fill a vacancy in the Offerings Solution Architect Lead role.
As the Offerings Solution Architect, you will lead a team of Architects who own the development of Managed Services standard architecture frameworks and offering components. This role partners with solution teams across the Firm to develop and industrialize Managed Services solutions (not deals/client engagements) with a focus on solutions having the greatest strategic value to the firm.
Your key responsibilities
Specify the reusable asset framework (business, technical and operational) required for compelling, standardized, and industrialized managed services offerings
Guide teams in translating business and technical requirements into operational and architectural blueprints and artifacts to achieve business objectives
Propose architecture solutions based on business and technology considerations, and suitable alternatives to satisfy client needs
Analyze the current solutions’ architectures to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
Support the EY Managed Services delivery team with the transition and establishment of managed services
Capture knowledge into EY artifacts that can be used to support Managed Services pursuits and EY’s overall approach– e.g., updated offering or solution architecture
Support the recruitment and development of solution talent into the Managed Services Enablement team
Produce offering solution documents consistent with EY’s Solution Accelerator Framework (SAF) lifecycle (e.g., Solution, Go-To-Market, Deal and Delivery toolkits)
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
Experience with global, managed services solutions
Working with client and delivery teams to co-develop solutions to meet the needs of the business
Experience developing frameworks, strategies and roadmaps
Demonstrated presentation skills to explain business concepts to lay audiences
Demonstrated strong organization skills, with the capability to work independently to plan, structure, and execute workstream activities
Comfortable working in an unstructured and fast-moving environment
Flexibility in working with various EY stakeholders across the world and in different time zones.
Ideally, you’ll also have
10+ years of working in a complex managed services environment
Work experience with an outsourcing firm, e.g., Accenture, IBM, EDS, etc
